The Mulhouse train station area is currently deeply transformed by the arrival of the TGV (high speed train). Nearby, the buildings "Chrome" and Platine" will be some of the iconic constructions of this new urban development. Their volume is voluntarily plain and square. It is enhanced by the sophistication of the metallic cladding of the façade, which would be reminiscent of both the thread of a fabric and the graphics of the “indiennes”, landmarks of the traditional textile industry of Mulhouse.
